Jim Schaffer began his McDonald’s career in 1980 as a crew person with Owner/Operator Bob Lozinak. Over the next several years Jim developed his skill within McDonald’s and began to work his way through different positions to include crew trainer, assistant manager and eventually being promoted to general manager at the age of 22. Jim continued to work for the Lozinak organization until 1991 when he was given the opportunity to join McDonald’s Corporation. Jim worked for McDonald’s Corporation for the next 25 years working his way through several positions including First Assistant Manager, General Manager, McOpCo Supervisor, Training Consultant and Field Service Consultant.
In February of 2009 Jim joined Owner/Operators Tony and Mike Meoli as the Director of Operations for their six restaurants – which has now grown to eighteen. Over Jim’s McDonald’s career he has received two Outstanding Restaurant Manager awards, Outstanding Operations Contributor and the Superior Leadership award.
Jim and his very understanding wife Cheryl live in Bel Air, Maryland with their two children Evan and Jordan.
