Meoli Companies is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its newest McDonald’s location, bringing jobs, growth, and golden arches to the Route 26 corridor. This marks the company’s 27th McDonald’s across the Delmarva Peninsula and its 38th overall location across Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
More than just the start of construction, this moment celebrates the continued economic growth of Sussex County and Meoli Companies’ commitment to serving the needs of its growing communities. Located at 35010 Atlantic Ave. in Ocean View, the new restaurant is expected to generate 55–60 local jobs while serving both year-round residents and the area’s vibrant visitor population.
The groundbreaking ceremony featured remarks from:
- Mike Meoli, Owner/Operator of Meoli Companies, shared his excitement about expanding into Clarksville
- Senator Gerald Hocker, who reflected on legacy and community impact
- Representative Ronald Gray, who emphasized local economic development
- Lauren Weaver, Executive Director of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the significance of tourism in the region
With ceremonial shovels and hard hats in hand, leaders and dignitaries celebrated the symbolic start of something much larger: new opportunities, strong partnerships, and another step in Meoli Companies’ regional growth.
