We’re excited to share that our brand-new McDonald’s in Clarksville, Delaware is officially open! On September 29, we celebrated our 27th location in the Delmarva Peninsula with a community-focused grand opening event filled with smiles, sauces, and shared excitement.
Located at 35010 Atlantic Avenue, this new restaurant brings more than just Big Macs and fries—it brings opportunity. With the addition of 50 new local jobs, the Clarksville McDonald’s is already making a meaningful impact to our local community, providing employment for people in the area.
A Celebration Full of Community Spirit
We marked the opening in true Meoli style—with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from local leaders, a community donation, and a fun twist: our “First Dip” ceremony. Guests joined together in a lighthearted countdown to dip nuggets, fries, and tenders into their favorite sauces—a delicious and symbolic way to kick things off.
Local officials including Senator Gerald Hocker, Representative Ronald Gray, Sussex County Council President Doug Hudson, and David Szumski, Incoming Board President of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, joined us to celebrate the occasion and recognize the role this restaurant will play in our community.

In keeping with our mission to be more than just a restaurant, we proudly presented a donation to South Coastal Village Volunteers, an organization that shares our commitment to supporting the local community. This is just one way we plan to stay connected and give back to the people who make our community so special.
