At Meoli Companies, we believe that our people are the heart of everything we do. That’s why we were proud to recently honor more than 150 McDonald’s team members for reaching milestone anniversaries in 2024. Ranging from one to an incredible 45 years of service, these dedicated individuals were recognized at our annual Meoli Milestones Luncheon, held at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville, Delaware.

Honoring Commitment and Legacy

During the celebration, team members were recognized for their years of hard work and dedication. Owner Mike Meoli expressed his heartfelt appreciation, emphasizing how each employee plays an essential role in the company’s success. The event also included a special tribute to Mike’s late father, Tony Meoli, whose values of hard work, commitment, and community service continue to shape the company’s mission.

“My father laid the foundation for what our company has become today,” Meoli shared. “His legacy lives on through the incredible people who make up our team.”

A Celebration to Remember

The luncheon featured a fun and engaging fashion show where company leadership modeled McDonald’s apparel, allowing employees to select their own milestone mementos. Adding to the inspiration, former Meoli Companies employee Quontisha Chisholm shared her journey of earning a high school diploma through the Archways to Opportunity program. Now working with children at Nemours Health, she spoke about the doors that Meoli Companies and McDonald’s educational initiatives helped open for her future.

Programs like Archways to Opportunity, which provides tuition assistance, and English and Spanish Under the Arches continue to make a meaningful impact on employees’ lives, helping them reach their personal and professional goals.

With the recent addition of a new McDonald’s restaurant in Milton, Delaware, and the acquisition of 11 locations in Norfolk, Virginia, Meoli Companies now operates 37 McDonald’s restaurants—26 of them serving the Delmarva Peninsula.

“The fact that we’re celebrating over 150 milestone team members this year reflects not only their incredible loyalty and dedication but also our continued investment in creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported,” Meoli said. “Together, we’re building something extraordinary—for our team, for our customers, and for our community.”
