Quontisha Chisolm: From Crew Member to Medical Administrative Assistant

Quontisha Chisolm’s journey is one of resilience and aspiration. Starting as a McDonald’s crew member during her teenage years, Quontisha worked her way up to becoming a medical administrative assistant at Nemours Children’s Health. Aryah Deputy: Overcoming Challenges and Pursuing Dreams

Another inspiring story shared at the event was that of Aryah Deputy, a Seaford resident and Bridgeville

McDonald’s employee. Deputy faced significant challenges after losing her father at the age of 13, which led her to lose interest in school. However, she has since found her way back on track and is now pursuing her dream of earning a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and eventually owning her own trucking business.

“I always wanted to get my CDL, so I’m training for that career path along with getting my GED,” Deputy shared. “Anyone can do this. It’s never too late! I’m doing it for my kids too. I want them to get their degrees. They need to understand that things happen; you live and you learn, but it’s never too late. I want the best for me and my kids. I got this.”

Deputy’s story is a powerful reminder that no matter the obstacles, it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Her determination to create a better future for herself and her children is truly inspiring.

y franchise owner Mike Meoli, Chisolm was recognized for her achievements and received a special jacket embroidered with “In the Crew – One in Eight.” This jacket symbolizes the fact that one in eight Americans has worked at McDonald’s and honors Chisolm’s determination to use her experience as a launchpad to a career where she now helps provide healing and comfort to children and their families.
